Fit ESCAPE Health & Fitness Waiver

 

This waiver should be read in conjunction with our applicable Terms & Conditions. By booking, attending, or participating in any Fit ESCAPE retreat, fitness holiday, or international event organised by MovX Group Ltd, trading as Fit ESCAPE, you confirm and agree to the following:

1. Physical Fitness & Medical Responsibility

I confirm that I am physically and medically fit to participate in fitness, wellness, and travel-based activities, which may include moderate to high-impact exercise. I understand it is my responsibility to:

• Seek medical advice prior to participation where appropriate

• Disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or limitations

• Manage my own health needs, including medication

2. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participation in a fitness retreat abroad involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical activity risks (e.g. injury, fatigue, strain)

• Use of equipment (including rebound shoes)

• Travel-related risks (e.g. delays, unfamiliar environments)

• Environmental risks (e.g. heat, terrain, facilities)

• Activities provided by third parties

I voluntarily accept and assume all such risks.

3. Travel & Environment Awareness

I understand that international travel may involve:

• Different health and safety standards

• Limited access to medical care or emergency services

• Cultural, environmental, and climate differences

I accept full responsibility for assessing my suitability to travel and participate.

4. Insurance Responsibility

I understand that I am solely responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance, including:

• Travel insurance

• Medical and emergency cover

• Activity-related cover

I acknowledge that MovX Group Ltd does not provide personal insurance and accepts no liability for costs arising from lack of coverage.

5. Third-Party Activities

I understand that certain activities, excursions, or services may be provided by independent third-party providers.

Participation in such activities is voluntary and undertaken at my own risk.

I acknowledge that MovX Group Ltd is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

6. Participant Responsibilities

I agree to:

• Follow all instructions and safety guidance

• Act responsibly and respectfully at all times

• Use equipment correctly

• Stop activity immediately if I feel unwell or unsafe

7. Health Restrictions

I confirm that I will not participate if I am:

• Unwell, injured, or medically unfit

• Under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medication

• Experiencing symptoms that may affect safe participation

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree that MovX Group Ltd, its instructors, and representatives shall not be liable for:

• Injury, illness, or loss arising from participation

• Travel-related issues or disruptions

• Third-party services or local conditions

Nothing in this waiver excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Personal Responsibility

I accept full responsibility for my safety, wellbeing, travel arrangements, and participation throughout the retreat.

I understand that participation is voluntary and undertaken at my own risk.

10. Acknowledgement

By proceeding with my booking or participation, I confirm that:
